In 2010, my life took an unexpected turn during a trip that ignited my curiosity. It all started when I was 19 years old, armed with my first camera, a Fujifilm Finepix JX. I knew little about photography, but that didn't stop me from documenting my adventures with friends in China. I learned as I went, capturing the architecture, landscapes, and vibrant street scenes of Chinese cities. The experience was captivating, and I couldn't put the camera down.
Upon returning to my life as a competitive athlete, photography remained a beloved hobby. However, it was during a visit to New York in 2019 that I realized my true passion lay in this visual art. While wandering the city, I encountered a man at Rucker Park, filming young basketball players. He was a video maker experimenting with mini video clips, and I couldn't help but be intrigued. His generosity and guidance fueled my passion, providing references and insights into both photography and cinematography.
Today, I'm dedicated to capturing the world through my lens, drawing inspiration from diverse cultures and fascinating people I meet during my travels.
My mission is to create the most extraordinary visual works.
